Mission Statement
The Virtual Learning Academy is committed to providing high school students individualized attention in a safe, supportive, and cooperative learning environment that celebrates each student's diversity and unique educational needs. The caring staff and innovative program offerings help students discover their full potential, accomplish their academic goals, become active participants in their community, value lifelong learning, explore their future career, college, and personal goals, and success in whatever path they choose after high school.
Vision Statement
The Virtual Learning Academy of Natomas Charter School is an innovative hybrid academy for students in grades 9-12 offering differentiated high-quality curricular pathways to pursue educational and career goals. We strive to develop each student's potential by providing not only meaningful and challenging coursework, but also a combination of instructional components including: independent study, on-site classes, community college courses, project based learning, and community learning experiences. We empower our graduates with the necessary skills and qualities to succeed in their future academic and/or career goals. The Virtual Learning Academy allows and encourages students to become life long, self motivated learners who continue on to enrich and better their societies as a whole.
